Abbott Heptral 200mg

Each tablet of Heptral 200 contains Ademetionine or S-adenosyl-L-methionine 200mg. S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAMe) is a derivative of the amino acid methionine and is a naturally occuring substance distributed throughout the human body. It is present in all living cells and takes part in many biochemical reactions in the body and it is important for a large number of metabolic pathways in the body. Ademetionine is not easily available from typical dietary sources.

(i) Supporting healthy liver function, reduction of tiredness and fatigue. 

(ii) Providing general liver tonic effect.
 
(iii) Supporting healthy mood balance.

Take 1 or 2 tablets per day or as directed by your healthcare professional. 

Benefits are most likely evident after 7-14 days and are maintained with continued use. The maximum daily dose of 1600 mg (8 tablets of Heptral 200mg) should not be exceeded. 

Heptral 200mg tablets should be swallowed whole and not chewed. 

For better absorption of the active ingredient and complete therapeutic effect, Heptral 200mg tablets should not be taken with meals. 

For best results, take Heptral in the morning on an empty stomach

Heptral 200mg tablets should be extracted from the blister package immediately before use. Do not use if outer printed seals are broken or missing.

Store below 25°C. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Do not freeze.

Product Warnings:

Some patients may experience dizziness with the use of Heptral 200. Caution is advised when driving or operating machinery until reasonably certain that Heptral 200 therapy does not affect their ability to engage in such activities. 

If you are taking prescription psychiatric medications, consult your physician before using this product. 

People with bipolar disorder (maniac-depressive illness) should not use Heptral 200 unless under medical supervision. 

This product may cause anxiety, restlessness and insomnia.

Excipients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Mannitol, Carboxymethylstarch sodium salt, Colloidal silica, anhydrous, Magnesium 
stearate, Methacrylic acid copolymer, Titanium dioxide, Triethyl citrate.
